A Welcome Message From The Club Chairman

Welcome to the new KLARC website.

We hope that you find it helpful and informative.

You are assured of a warm and friendly welcome at our Thursday evening meetings. Entrance is only £1 and it's free tea and coffee all evening.

Come and see our newly refurbished radio room and you are welcome to use the equipment (subject to holding a current licence). The Antenna farm has also had a major upgrade as well, so come along and talk to the world!

If you don't hold a licence, you are of course still more than welcome to come and we can show you how easy it is to obtain a licence, enabling you to join in with this great hobby.

Amateur Radio - A 21st Century Hobby
"Whether you enjoy writing software, getting hands-on with practical equipment, developing new technology or simply want to use what’s already there to communicate with others across the world, you’ll find all of this – and more – within amateur radio. It is also great fun. Why don't you try it?"
